WHY‌ ‌OUR‌ ‌WORK‌ ‌IS‌ ‌IMPORTANT‌
TO FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATIONS

All New York real estate transactions are complicated. Faith-based real estate transactions can be downright existential - and even more complex.

Over the past decade, we have seen too many properties owned by faith-based organizations taken by deferred maintenance, tax liens or dishonest developers.

In the past 15 years, the City has lost 332 faith-based properties.

With the loss of faith-based organizations and property and the deterioration of communities, the Partnership saw the urgent need for self-help.

We act as a trusted partner, intending to turn the tide of bad real estate deals and community deterioration. Comprised of faith leaders and real estate professionals, the Partnership informs, connects, and empowers faith-based organizations to evaluate their real property and achieve financial, faith, and missional goals.

The Partnership believes and insists that an organization’s final goals for its real property must be self-determined. Because there is an extreme housing crisis in New York City, the Partnership believes that affordable housing and shelter will be among an organization’s fundamental purpose.

While the Partnership has the greatest depth of resources in affordable housing and homelessness alleviation, its team and supports help faith-based organization ‌understand and pursue all of its real property goals.
